You can receive $10,000 with the First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) If you are buying or building a new home valued up to $750,000, you may be eligible for a First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) of $10,000. To be eligible, the home must not have been previously sold or occupied.

To be eligible for the grant, the value of the new home including the land must be less than $750,000. For owner–builders, the total value is the cost to construct the home and the value of the land at the time foundations are laid.

The grant has been doubled to $30,000, and it's available for granny flats or modular homes until mid-2025. This offer is valid for anyone building or purchasing a new home valued under $750,000. At Alphaline, we specialise in creating the ideal living that can fit your lifestyle and budget.

Applicants must: Lodge an application with the approved agent assisting with finance (bank or credit union) or to the State Revenue Office after settlement and within 12 months of completion of the eligible transaction.

The value of your first home including the land, must be below $750,000. The FHOG in QLD is available if you buy off the plan, but you may also be eligible for the FHOG if you buy an established home that's been substantially renovated. This means all, or most, of the building has been removed or replaced.

The First Home Owners Grant (FHOG) is available to all permanent residents, as well as Australian citizens. If you're a New Zealand citizen living in Australia on a Subclass 444 visa and meet the other requirements, you should be eligible for this grant.

The Queensland first home owner grant provides first-time home buyers an extra bit of help to get into the market sooner. If eligible, you'll get $15,000 or $30,000 towards buying or building your new home.

For buying or building a new home, the grant amount is: $30,000 for contracts signed between 20 November 2023 and 30 June 2025 (both dates inclusive) $15,000 for contracts signed before 20 November 2023.
