Under Texas law, someone who fails to pay a toll may be charged with a criminal misdemeanor for toll evasion under Chapter 370.11 of the Texas Transportation Code.

To dispute a toll, complete the E-ZPass Customer Toll Dispute Form. PA Turnpike E-ZPass customers can also dispute tolls directly within their E-ZPass Accounts. Toll disputes must be submitted within 45 days of the transaction date. Disputes submitted without proper documentation will not be processed.
