Items needed at the examination centre include Printout of the confirmation e-mail received from the British Council to your registered email address after the registration for the IELTS examination. This printout is stamped at the entrance to the listening, reading, writing and speaking examinations.

Technically, all age groups are eligible to take the IELTS exam, however, a child under 16 years of age does not have much use for an IELTS score.

Your completed consent form must be provided to the Test Centre before or on the day of the Test. It must be provided before registration on test day. If you do not provide this Consent Form on or before the test day you will not admitted to the test room.

Who is this form for? This form is to be completed by the parent/carer of any child taking a British Council test. It provides the British Council with information about who will be collecting the child after the test or provides confirmation that the child is permitted to leave exam premises unaccompanied.
