Once you've considered your options fully, you should complete the withdrawal form. Email AREAdmin@ntu.ac.uk to submit your completed withdrawal form, unless you're a further education (FE) student. If you're a further education (FE) student, email fe.enquiries@ntu.ac.uk to submit your completed withdrawal form.

If you are unwell and have a MC, please download the form from here and email it with supporting documents to askMAE@ntu.edu.sg not later than 7 working days after the medical leave.

You can do so during the Add/Drop Period which happens from the 1st to 2nd week of each semester, daily from 10.00am to 10.00pm. Students will be granted access to the STARS system during the Add/Drop Period and students can make changes to the courses registered.

The review process for a withdrawal request may take up to six to eight weeks. NTU Library will inform the requestor of the course of actions taken. The author of the item (if contactable) and his/her supervisor (if applicable) and School will be informed as well.

Change of Programme Existing students may apply to change their programme within NTU during the application period prior to the start of each semester. The outcome is subject to the approval of the School(s) of both the current and new programme.

The difference between a leave of absence and a withdrawal is the lapse of time. If a student intends to return to the College and will do so before 180 days, the initial request will be processed as a leave of absence.
