To renew your driver license or nondriver ID, you must present acceptable documents to verify the following: Proof of Identity; Date of Lawful Status; Proof of Social Security number; and. Proof of Missouri residential address.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE? Missouri's REAL ID- compliant driver licenses and nondriver ID cards will have a star in the upper right-hand corner. A license or ID card that is not compliant with REAL ID will have “Not for REAL ID Purposes” in the upper right- hand corner.

Time limits: Drivers age 70 and older must renew in person every three years; those ages 21 to 69 must renew every six years. Drivers under age 21 must also renew every three years.

You can receive a Missouri replacement ID after presenting a DMV agent with proof of ID and proof of Social Security. You'll also need to pay a $26 to $32 fee. Drivers can apply for a replacement license at any Missouri license office.

Beginning May 3, 2023, every air traveler 18 years of age and older will be required to present a REAL ID-compliant driver license or ID card, or another form of ID accepted by the Transportation Security Administration, to board federally regulated domestic flights.
