What are the FL CPE Requirements? Florida CPAs must complete at least 80 hours of CPE every 2 years including at least 4 hours in Florida-Specific Ethics and at least 8 hours in Accounting or Auditing. FL CPAs are limited to a maximum of 20 Behavioral subject hours.

Transfer CPA license to Florida If you already have a CPA license in another state, you can apply for a Florida CPA license through a process called “endorsement” that many boards use. However, you must: Meet all education requirements, including a bachelor's degree. Pass the Florida Law and Rules examination.

CPA Exam requirements - Florida In order to be eligible to sit for the CPA Exam in Florida, you must complete 120 semester credit hours. No Bachelor's degree is required to sit for the exam. These semester-hour requirements include the 120 semester or 180 quarter hours.

All the members (aged less than 60 years) who are holding Certificate of Practice (except all those members who are residing abroad) are required to: Complete at least 120 CPE credit hours in a rolling period of three-years. Complete minimum 20 CPE credit hours of structured learning in each calendar year.

Florida CPAs must complete a total of 80 CPE hours to include at least eight (8) hours in accounting and auditing and at least 4 hours in Board approved ethics every two years.
