4. The completed PS Form 3624 must be submitted to the Post Office where Nonprofit USPS Marketing Mail mailings will be deposited. If the application is approved, the authorization will apply nationwide.

To qualify for Standard Mail (bulk) rates, mailings must: Consist of a minimum of 200 addressed pieces (or 50 pounds). Be made of printed pieces identical in content, size, and weight. Weigh less than 1 pound (each piece).

A nonprofit authorization number is a unique number assigned to your nonprofit and recognized with the USPS, nationwide. It can be used with any permit, even one that belongs to your mail house.

Nonprofit precanceled stamps look like regular stamps and come in self-adhesive stamp rolls of 500, 3,000, or 10,000, but again, can only be used by nonprofits that have applied and been approved to use the nonprofit rate. Precanceled stamps are affixed just like a regular stamp and can be purchased from the USPS.
