Any business owner who is eligible for a tax credit and wants to claim the tax credit when they file their taxes should complete Form 3800.

File Form 3800 to claim any of the general business credits. Note: To claim credits carried over from a prior year, taxpayers must provide details.

If you want to challenge the deficiency determination, file a petition with the U.S. Tax Court. File your tax return immediately (no later than 90 days from the date of the CP3219N) or accept our proposed assessment by signing and returning the Response form.
