How to fill out the T1013 online
The T1013 form allows you to authorize someone to act as your representative for income tax matters or to cancel existing representatives. This guide provides clear steps to complete the T1013 online efficiently.
Follow the steps to fill out the T1013 online.

- Fill out Part 1—Taxpayer information. Enter your Social Insurance Number (SIN), trust account number, and your first and last name. Ensure all information is accurate.
- Proceed to Part 2—Representative information and authorization. Enter the name and mailing address of your representative. Choose either section A or B based on the type of access you wish to grant.
- If authorizing online access in section A, provide your representative's RepID or GroupID, and specify the level of authorization (level 1 or 2).
- If authorizing access by telephone, in person, and in writing in section B, enter the individual's name and contact information, and indicate the level of authorization for all tax years or specific years.
- Complete Part 3—Authorization expiry date if applicable; otherwise, your authorization remains effective until cancelled.
- If you need to cancel existing authorizations, fill out Part 4, indicating which authorizations to cancel.
- In Part 5—Signature and date, sign and date the form. If applicable, your legal representative must sign as well.
- Review all entered information for accuracy before saving, downloading, printing, or sharing your completed form.
