Babe Ruth Baseball - Ages 13-15 Founded in 1951, Babe Ruth Baseball League was created for ballplayers ages 13-15 who wished to continue their baseball playing experience beyond the age of 12.

2023 Season Cal Ripken (4-12) – Any player born prior to May 1, 2019 and on or after May 1, 2010 will be eligible for Cal Ripken Baseball League competition. Any player that turns 4-years-old in the months of May, June, July and August of 2019 is eligible to participate in the Cal Ripken T-Ball Division.

At the time Boston Red Sox Owner, Harry Frazee, was very involved with the theater industry. And many failures in 1918 left him in financial difficulties. So speculation then began that in order to make up for his losses, he decided to cut costs by selling off players from the Red Sox including Ruth himself.

13-16 – Any player born prior to May 1, 2011 and on or after May 1, 2007 will be eligible for Babe Ruth 13-16 League competition. 16-18 – Any player born on or after January 1, 2005 will be eligible for Babe Ruth 16-18 League competition.
