Every month, perform a deep inspection and maintenance on your generator. Checking the internal and auxiliary devices and components of the generator. You should also check the oil levels and refill them if necessary.

This will give you recommendations based on the actual condition of the lubricating oil. Replace the air filter and fuel filters, as well.
