The Wender Utah Rating Scale – 25 item version (WURS-25) is a self-report instrument that is designed to retrospectively evaluate the presence and severity of childhood symptoms of ADHD in adults (18+; Ward et al., 1993).

A cutoff score of 46 or higher correctly identified 86% of the patients with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, 99% of the normal subjects, and 81% of the depressed subjects. Correlations obtained between WURS scores and Parents' Rating Scale scores were moderate but impressive.

The results range between 0 and 100 when the 25-item scale is used and a cut-off at 46 points was provided. This means that patients who score 46 or above are likely to be diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

*Data suggest a cutoff score of 46 or higher correctly identified 86% of the patients with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and 99% of the normal subjects.

A standardized measure called a T-score helps your doctor compare your results. When your T-score is less than 60, it usually means you don't have ADHD. A score higher than 60 may indicate ADHD. And a T-score higher than 70 means your ADHD symptoms are more serious.

The Wender Utah Rating Scale (WURS) is a retrospective, self-reporting questionnaire comprising 61 questions that are used to evaluate the symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adults. It was devised by Ward et al, 1993, and the 61 questions were all linked to symptoms of ADHD.

The Wender Utah Rating Scale (WURS) is a self-report instrument that is designed to retrospectively assess childhood ADHD symptoms, based on the Utah criteria (10,11). The scale originally consisted of 61 items.

The results range between 0 and 100 when the 25-item scale is used and a cut-off at 46 points was provided. This means that patients who score 46 or above are likely to be diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
