A Replevin case is a court action in which one person (the Plaintiff) seeks to recover possession of personal property wrongfully taken or detained by another (the Defendant), plus money damages (if any) for the Defendant's unlawful possession of the property.

Replevin (recovering personal property) People who want to get their property back can file a civil case against that person. The Court can tell the person to return your property and might also make them pay you additional money for them having taken it.

Rule 404 - Character Evidence; Other Crimes, Wrongs, or Acts (a)Character evidence generally. Evidence of a person's character or a trait of his character is not admissible for the purpose of proving that he acted in conformity therewith on a particular occasion, except: (1)Character of accused.

 Return Date: The date that the Defendant must file his/her answer by and/or appear in Court, which is listed on the Summons.

The responding party shall have 21 days after the date of service of a motion, or such lesser or greater time as the court may allow, in which to file a response. The moving party may file a reply no later than 14 days after the date of service of the response, or such lesser or greater time as the court may allow.
