Masjid al Nabawi is the second holiest mosque in Islam, the second largest mosque in the world after the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca. It is resting place of the Prophet Muhammad. It was built by the Prophet himself, next to the house where he settled after his migration to Medina in 622 AD.

Al-Farooq Masjid is a mosque in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Founded in 1980, the mosque is one of the largest in the Southeastern United States. The current building, located in Atlanta's Home Park neighborhood, was completed in 2008.

Masjid Al Haram Commonly known as the Kaaba or The Great Mosque of Makkah, it holds the distinguished title of being the world's oldest mosque. This revered site, where Prophet Ibrahim and his son Ismail (peace be upon them both) prayed, is revered as the holiest of holy sites in Islam.

Although its definitive date of origin is difficult to establish, many believe that Ibrahim (Abraham in the Christian tradition) built the Kaaba, which began as a simple rectangular structure without a roof. In c. 608, the ruling tribe of Mecca, the Quraysh, rebuilt the building in masonry and wood.
