The undersigned hereby certifies that he/she has taken the following actions on behalf of the Contractor to demonstrate the aforesaid good faith efforts check actions as applicable Economic Development or its designee to inform minority and women business enterprises of contracting and subcontracting opportunities available on the project and women small business enterprises in order to increase the likelihood of participation by such enterprises publications if any concerning the contracting or subcontracting opportunity identified from current certified lists of such business enterprises provided or maintained by the NYS Empire State Development s Division of Minority and Women Owned Business Development or its designee of the contracting or interested in such contracting or subcontracting opportunity specifications and requirements for the contracting or subcontracting opportunity offices and other organizations identified by the NYS Department of Economic Development or its designee that provide assistance in the recruitment and placement of minority and women business enterprises and quotations and did not without justifiable reason reject as unsatisfactory any bids proposals or quotations prepared by any minority or women business. Good faith negotiating means engaging in good faith discussions with minority or women businesses about the nature of the work scheduling requirements for special equipment opportunities for dividing of work among the bidders proposers and various subcontractors and the bids of the minority or women businesses including sharing with them any cost estimates from the request for proposal or invitation to bid documents if available.
