However, this shall remain in force for an employee till he continues to draw pay in the pre- revised pay band and grade pay under ORSP Rules, 2008. Henceforth, the Revised Assured Career Progression (RACP) Scheme is replaced with introduction of Modified Assured Career Progression (MACP) Scheme w.e.f. 01.01.

a. Soldiers are identified as enrolled in the MACP through the use of the personnel database of record, which displays the Social Security Number, Personnel Class, and Component of the Soldier's spouse. This information is used to initiate coordination with the spouse's career manager.

Only one Soldier needs to request enrollment in the MACP when both Soldiers are serviced by the same Military Personnel Division, Brigade Combat Team, and/or Brigade Staff Section (S-1). Otherwise both must apply. Enrollment is initiated by either Soldier but both Soldiers must sign the request.

While the Married Army Couples Program (MACP) assigns Soldiers married to another Soldier to the same location most of the time, any other consideration requires the MACP couple to ask their chain of command for accommodations not provided to other Soldiers.
