Get P45 No Download Needed

The P45 form is used by HM Revenue & Customs to ensure the correct amount of tax is paid to the employee. The P45 form can be downloaded from the UK government website.

Parts 1A, 2 and 3 of P45(Online) must be printed on white A4 size paper of at least 80 gsm. Coloured paper must not be used for these forms. All forms and data must be printed in pure black.

When an employee leaves your company, you need to print their P45. Your software includes P45 layouts that you can print to blank paper. TIP: The P45 is a fixed report from HMRC. Due to this you can't edit the layout, or send it via email from Sage 50 Payroll.

You get a P45 when you leave employment and you complete a P46 when you start employment should you not have a P45 from a recent previous employer. Your P45 will show various pieces of information including your PAYE reference code and how much you earned and paid in tax during the tax year.
