Bob Moog and Cris Lehman founded University Games in 1985. The company has added many divisions and broadened our scope a lot since then, but the University Games' products remain true to the standards set more than 30 years ago. Creative game play and quality components are our standard, but that's not all we offer.

The origins of jigsaw puzzles go back to the 1760s when European mapmakers pasted maps onto wood and cut them into small pieces. John Spilsbury, an engraver and mapmaker, is credited with inventing the first jigsaw puzzle in 1767. The dissected map has been a successful educational toy ever since.

Paul-Émile Gallant (July 17, 1944 – September 13, 2011) was a Canadian entrepreneur who developed Puzz-3D three-dimensional jigsaw puzzles.

John Spilsbury, a London cartographer, and engraver is believed to have produced the first "jigsaw" puzzle around 1760. It was a map glued to a flat piece of wood and then cut into pieces following the lines of the countries.

Acquired in 1999 from Lombard Marketing, BePuzzled is a puzzle plus and brain teaser line focused on delivering collections of trendy and innovative brands. We focus on designing puzzles for hands-on activities that require a puzzler to think in unconventional ways.

The “key” helps to tighten certain pieces together to keep the puzzle together.

Building a 3D jigsaw puzzle is pretty straightforward: take all puzzle pieces out of a box and with the help of the reference images provided on the box, assemble them into several distinct sections. Once they are all completed, follow the instructions and join them together in 3D.

We used our favorite: mod podge in matte. you can get both of these items at Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Michael's, etc. Next, work in sections and just spread the glue with your scraper tool. You want to make sure that the glue gets in the cracks between each puzzle piece, that's what bonds the puzzle together.
