- Enter the details of the premises requiring electricity. Fill in the street or road, street number, stand or erf number, suburb or extension, and the building or complex type, whether it is a house, flat, school, business, factory, townhouse, church, or plot.
- Provide the details of the registered owner or authorized representative. Include their name, postal address, city, and phone numbers with home, cell, and work options.
- Fill out the details regarding the new electricity connection. Specify if you require a 1-phase connection or a 3-phase connection. If choosing the latter, provide the ampere per phase and kVA details.
- Indicate if you require an underground cable or an overhead connection. Also, mention the number of 1-phase meters and 3-phase meters needed.
- Choose between a pre-payment meter and a standard rotation meter. Additionally, indicate if you wish to utilize off-peak metering, available only in certain areas.
- If applicable, note that for a connection exceeding 150kVA, only a bulk meter will be installed. Ensure that only one electricity meter is installed per erf and that sub-metering for multiple buildings is managed by the developer or owners.
