Tap and pay over £100 with your mobile You can still make contactless payments on your phone over the £100 limit but they require authentication through a password-protected phone, or through entering your PIN.

You can touch and pay with Contactless Mobile for amounts up to £100, without entering a PIN. For amounts between £100 and £300, you can touch and pay having entered your PIN into your device. You cannot use Contactless Mobile for transaction amounts over £300.

Can I give a refund for a contactless payment? Yes. But the customer will need to accept their refund using their contactless card.
