Anne Frank By Theme. Loneliness. Identity. War. Family. Mortality.

Anne Frank was a German girl and Jewish victim of the Holocaust who is famous for keeping a diary of her experiences. Anne and her family went into hiding for two years to avoid Nazi persecution. Her documentation of this time is now published in The Diary of a Young Girl.

Anne Frank's diary taught that we don't really need all the stuff that we think we really "need", like a TV, or a smartphone. Anne Frank learned how to enjoy even the smallest bits of life, like the sun, or the sound of birds, a sound that I particularly have found quite annoying.

Book details A comparison of the three versions of Anne Frank's diary; Anne's original entries, including never-before-published material; the diary as she herself edited it while in hiding; and the best-known version, edited by her father.

There are many important messages in this book, but the most important message is that all people have the right to live in freedom. Anne's story shows us that just because people may be a different religion or race, doesn't mean that they should be treated differently.

Great book but not for ANY kids under 11 Anyone 11 or above should definitely read this.
