Fee-free* TAFE is a joint initiative of the Australian and New South Wales Governments, providing tuition-free training places for people wanting to train, retrain or upskill.

The Certificate II in General Education for Adults is approximately equivalent to Year 10 for the purposes of applying for a TAFE course and will meet the entry requirements for most Certificate II, III or IV level TAFE courses.

AUD$6,680 to AUD$11,500 per semester for TAFE NSW Degree courses.

Students with a disability: Students who meet the eligibility requirements for Smart and Skilled and are the current dependent child, spouse or partner of a recipient of a Disability Support Pension are exempt from paying the Smart and Skilled student fee.

Select the Academic Records tile. Click on VET Confirmation of Enrolment. Select the Year you wish to generate the confirmation of enrolment. Click the Submit button.

Funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training, TAFE NSW offers the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP), providing students up to 510 hours of free English lessons and childcare to newly arrived eligible migrants, and refugees.

If your higher education testamur is lost, damaged or stolen, you can request a replacement testamur. You need to do this by visiting Customer Services Section at the TAFE NSW location where you completed your studies, to complete an Application for Replacement Testamur form and paying the relevant replacement fee.
