Six Hour Behind the Wheel Program : $360.00 Transportation for eye exam and written test. Additional Help studying for written exam if needed. 6 Hours behind the wheel training. One on one instruction with a qualified professional NJ licensed instructor.

General requirements To operate a driving school in New Jersey, you will need to be licensed by the state. Licenses are valid for 1 year, and expire in December–suggesting you should apply later in the year for a school to start in January/February. Renewal applications must be submitted at least 30 days in advance.

Complete 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction in a dual-controlled vehicle with a licensed driving instructor. The driving school, student, or parent/guardian must complete the student permit at a motor vehicle agency that offers driver testing. Once completed, the MVC agency will validate for practice driving.

To get a New Jersey driver's license, your teen must first take a high school driving course or enroll in a licensed driving school.
