- To add an appointment, either double click on the desired cell within the appointment book or click the ‘New’ button and select ‘Patient Appointment’. Find the existing patient, or use the ‘Add New Patient’ feature if the patient is not already in the system. Specify the Appointment Type, Date, and Time.
- If needed, set a reminder for the appointment to ensure it is never missed. Once all details are entered, click ‘Save’ to record the appointment.
- To modify an existing appointment, select the cell and drag the time allocation to adjust. Alternatively, right-click on the appointment to delete if necessary.
- To insert a break, highlight the appropriate time slot, click ‘New’, and select ‘Break’. For a recurring break, ensure to select a date range and set the frequency.
- To adjust the start and end times for an optometrist on a specific day, click on the desired cell and then the ‘Change Schedule’ button. Enter the new times and click ‘Save’.
- Mark the status of an appointment using the icons available at the top of the appointment screen to indicate its current status.
- Finally, save changes, download, print, or share the form as necessary to ensure your appointments are securely managed.
