Getting Permission to Travel Can Take Months Getting permission to leave the state, or to travel for extended periods within Arizona requires the permission of your probation officer and, by extension, the courts. Probation Periods for Each Class of Criminal Offenses Class two felonies – maximum of seven years. Class three felonies – maximum of five years. Class four felonies – maximum of four years. Class five and six felonies – maximum of three years.

A.R.S. 13-901. To terminate the probation early, the defendant will need to file a Petition for Termination of Probation. It is important that the defendant pay all fees, restitution, and have no violations of probation.
