6 Team Double Elimination Bracket Game one is between Team 1 and Team 2. Game two is between Team 3 and Team 4. Team 5 will play the winner from game one in game three. Team 6 will play the winner from game two in game four.

With a tournament of 6 teams, the calculation would be: 6 x (6-1)/2 = 6 x 5/2 = 30/2 = 15 games.

Tournament brackets with six teams won't work out as smooth as ones that start out with 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64 teams. That's because with 6 teams, you could have three games with two teams each in the first round, but then there would be an odd number of winning teams advancing into the second round.

In a round-robin tournament with 6 teams, each team plays one game against each other team, and each game results in one team winning and one team losing. At the end of the tournament, the teams are ranked by the number of games won.

Group of Six Teams: Played as two brackets of three teams. Each team will cross over and play the three teams in the other bracket. The two teams accumulating the most points from all six teams will advance to the finals to determine which team is the champion (Wildcard 1 vs Wildcard 2).

Double elimination brackets are broken up into a winners bracket and a losers bracket, with the winner of the loser's bracket playing the winner of the winner's bracket for first place. Losers of matches in the winners bracket dropdown into a spot and play another loser to see who advances in the loser's bracket.

A round-robin of six teams must be spread out over two days. Play four rounds the first day, and the fifth game as the first round on the second day. Because no team has a bye during the round-robin, no team has an unfair advantage for the games that follow the round-robin.

Double Elimination Tournament Everyone starts in the Championship bracket, if they lose, they drop to the Consolation bracket. If they lose in the Consolation bracket (which would be their second loss), they are eliminated from the tournament.
