All teacher and principal evaluations will be comprised of three components: 50 percent observation data, 35 percent student growth score and 15 percent of other student achievement data selected from a list of state-board approved options.

Administrator evaluation combines self-reflection, observation, input of school staff, and student data to create a complete picture of an administrator's performance. The effectiveness rating is calculated using a formula that is 50 percent qualitative and 50 percent quantitative.

The five effectiveness groups are: significantly above expectations (level 5), above expectations (level 4), at expectations (level 3), below expectations (level 2), and significantly below expectations (level 1).

The TIGER Teacher Evaluation Model was developed by practitioners within the Association of Independent of Municipal Schools (AIMS) districts for practitioners. The model is designed to promote teacher growth and to ensure all teachers provide quality instruction that aligns with district goals and curriculum.
