Colorado Form 104 – Personal Income Tax Return for Residents.

Form 104CR Individual Credit Schedule 2022. Taxpayer's Last Name. First Name. Middle Initial SSN or ITIN. Use this schedule to calculate your income tax credits.

Colorado allows a pension/annuity subtraction for: Taxpayers who are at least 55 years of age as of the last day of the tax year. Beneficiaries of any age (such as a widowed spouse or orphan child) who are receiving a pension or annuity because of the death of the person who earned the pension.

The Colorado capital gain subtraction is allowed only for capital gains recognized by farmers from the sale of agricultural real property. See Colorado Income Tax Topics Capital Gain Subtraction and Form 1316 for additional details.

If claiming a subtraction and filing by paper, you must submit this schedule with your return. Use this schedule to report any subtractions from your Federal Taxable Income.

Does Colorado have a state Child Tax Credit? Yes. The Colorado Child Tax Credit is a new credit related to the federal credit. It is available for Colorado residents to claim on their 2022 Colorado income tax return when they file beginning in January 2023.

Colorado allows for a subtraction of pension or annuity income and the amount is based upon the age of the taxpayer. Age 65 or older: you can deduct up to $24,000 or the taxable amount of your pension, whichever is smaller.

The DR 88454 replaces the DR 8453 for tax year 2022 and forward.
