Disclosure of Campaign Contributions and Expenditures Campaign disclosure documents filed with the Board reflect both the source of funding and purpose of expenditures made by the political committees. These documents are public record and are available to the general public for viewing or purchase during office hours.

A Schedule A-1 is a special, stand-alone report required for larger contributions received by political committees. Specifically, it is used to report contributions of $1000 or more received from a single source.

Independent expenditures are defined essentially as any payment or expenditure made for electioneering communications or expressly advocating for or against a candidate, provided the spending is not made in coordination with a candidate or their committee.

You must use Illinois Schedule B to supply us with a listing of your partners, certain items of income and credits they received from you, and pass-through withholding you made on their behalf. You must complete all lines of Illinois Schedule B, as applicable, and file it with your Form IL-1065.
