Antes de comenzar la ampliación o construcción de cualquier obra, se debe obtener un la aprobación de un proyecto de arquitectura ante la Dirección de Obras Municipales (DOM) respectiva, esta aprobación se denomina Permiso de Edificación o Permiso de Obra Menor, dependiendo de las características de la construcción.

- Solicitud de permiso de edificación, firmado por el propietario, Arquitecto, Constructor, e Ingeniero Civil (según corresponda).
