- If the employee will be using their own vehicle for work, obtain a copy of their insurance with the company as a named insured.
- If a respirator fit test is relevant, ensure it has been completed.
- If applicable, document the equipment list issued to the employee.
- Record whether the employee has accepted or waived health insurance and remind them they can change their decision during their probationary period.
- Ensure a company ID and uniform have been ordered for the employee.
- Email Janelle with the employee’s name, branch, and the last four digits of their Social Security number for Intranet access.
- Fill out the I-9 completely; the original should be scanned/emailed to HR, and filed securely with all I-9 documents.
