PG&E does not apply fees to start service. In some cases, PG&E may require you to pay a deposit upon starting service. Once you have fulfilled the deposit requirements, your deposit amount, plus any interest accrued, will be given back to you as a credit on your PG&E account.

Start gas and electric service Go to Start Service. Select "New to PG&E". Enter your name and identification. Enter your new service address. Pick a start date that falls within 60 days.
