TheJoint Contingency Contracting System (JCCS)is a system used primarily outside the United States (US)to put contract officers in contact with local vendors and ensure those vendors have been investigated for any risks they may pose to US assets and personnel.

A contingency contract is a written agreement between two people that specifies a behavior that one person agrees to engage in and a reward that another person agrees to give as a result.

There are three major parts to a contingency contract: (a) task or behavior, (b) reward, and (c) progress monitoring. Contingency contracts can be successful because they provide a clear if-then statement and students are able to obtain reinforcement.

Purpose. The Corps provides acquisition support, expertise and supplements in support of responses to national emergencies, major disasters or contingency operations. This support includes pre-award, award, and post award activities consistent with applicable Federal statutes and regulations.

A contingency contract is an agreement between a student and teacher which states behavioral or academic goals for the student and reinforcers or rewards that the student will receive contingent upon achievement of these goals.

Contingency contracts target undesirable behaviors and conditions while helping a person achieve better outcomes. For instance, a parent can enter a contingency contract with a child that does not finish his or her homework on time. The child can agree to finish his or her homework before supper.
