The two most common types of leases are operating leases and financing leases (also called capital leases). In order to differentiate between the two, one must consider how fully the risks and rewards associated with ownership of the asset have been transferred to the lessee from the lessor.

Example of Lease Payments Your monthly finance charge is the vehicle's capitalized cost plus residual value times the offered money factor. Your credit score, the vehicle, and specific lease terms all affect the money factor. Your monthly finance charge plus monthly depreciation determines the base lease payment.

You'll have the option to add your payment details when making a booking. If you'd like to update your payment details at a later date, you'll need to speak with us directly. You can do this by contacting us or your Reception team in person.

When you make your booking, you can choose to pay in full or by instalments using a credit card, debit card or direct debit. The types of bank cards you can use are: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro and UnionPay. If you choose to pay in full, you will still be required to have a guarantor.

Once you have booked your room, you will receive your booking confirmation email with a link to your tenancy agreement. It is very important that you understand what you're accepting.

A lease payment is the equivalent of the monthly rent, that is formally dictated under a contract between two parties, granting one participant the legal right to use the other individual's real estate holdings, manufacturing equipment, computers, software, or other fixed assets, for a specified amount of time.

Who can book a room? Any full-time student can live with Unite Students; your University or College can let you know if you are classed as a full-time student. A guarantor is someone over the age of 25 who takes joint financial responsibility for your tenancy.
