C Group – CPT, CIP, CFR & CIF They organize the delivery of the goods to the place of loading for the main carriage, where risks will also be transferred to the buyer. They are responsible for export customs clearance.

When shipping under EXW Incoterms, the buyer is responsible for all import duty, taxes, & customs clearance. EXW requires the buyer to handle all aspects of the exportation, freight, and importation process. The seller is only responsible for export packaging.

EXW (Ex Works) is an incoterm that only requires the seller to make the goods available for pickup by the buyer at the seller's premises or another named location. The buyer is responsible for export clearance, loading the goods at the named location, and bearing all cost and risk to the destination.

Incoterms 2010 refer to the issue of transporting products from the seller (exporter) to the buyer (importer). Incoterms also include carrying products, covering the costs of transport itself, insurance costs, cost of risk transfer for the condition of products at various points in the transport process.
