Follow the steps to complete your Google Settings
- Press the ‘Get Form’ button to obtain the form and open it in your editing interface.
- Open the Settings page by clicking the icon with three stacked horizontal lines located to the left of the address bar.
- Alternatively, type 'chrome://chrome/settings/' into the address bar to locate the page.
- If you are using Mac OS X, you can access the Settings page by selecting Chrome > Preferences or using the shortcut Command + Comma.
- In the Settings page, locate the ‘Privacy’ section and select ‘Content Settings…’. You may need to scroll to the bottom and click ‘Show advanced settings…’ to expose this option.
- In the ‘Content settings’ overlay, ensure the following options are configured: a. Cookies: Allow local data to be set (recommended). b. Cookies: Uncheck the option for ‘Block third-party cookies and data’. c. JavaScript: Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended). d. Pop-ups: Allow all sites to show pop-ups. To manage specific exceptions, use the ‘Manage exceptions…’ button to specify any required URLs and set the behavior to Allow.
- Locate the ‘HTTPS/SSL’ section and choose ‘Content Settings…’. Again, click ‘Show advanced settings…’ if needed.
- Check the box next to ‘Check for server certificate revocation’ for improved security.
- To delete the cache, navigate to the left-hand navigation and click on ‘History’. Then, click on ‘Clear all browsing data…’, select ‘the beginning of time’ from the dropdown, check ‘Empty the cache’, and click the ‘Clear browsing data’ button.
- To delete cookies, access ‘History’ as above, click ‘Clear all browsing data…’, select an appropriate date range, check ‘Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data’, and finally click on the ‘Clear browsing data’ button.
