50058 Overdue Reexams – Forms Rejected: This report displays PHAs with overdue reexaminations by at least 14 months because the submitted form was rejected. PHAs can use this report to locate overdue reexaminations and use that information to update and fix the fatal error(s) in PIC and resubmit.

The maximum housing assistance is generally the lesser of the payment standard minus 30% of the family's monthly adjusted income or the gross rent for the unit minus 30% of monthly adjusted income.

Form 50058 is a module of IMS/PIC, a system that collects, stores, and generates reports on families who participate in Public Housing or Section 8 rental subsidy programs.

Annual or Interim Reexamination (6.2) Under HUD program rules, all assisted families must periodically have their income reexamined for purposes of determining their continued eligibility for assistance and required contribution to rent.
