The FedEx PRP, or cylinder return procedure, is designed to streamline the process of returning empty gas cylinders to Spectra Gases, Inc. This guide provides a step-by-step approach to help users easily navigate the online form and ensure compliance with return procedures.
Follow the steps to complete the FedEx PRP online form successfully.
- Click ‘Get Form’ button to access the document and open it for editing.
- Enter your address in the 'From' section at the top of the FedEx Ground PRP label to ensure proper identification for the return shipment.
- Place the return cylinder inside the shipping carton, which should be the original package used to receive the cylinder. If you have flattened the carton, secure it with two of the Return Cylinder Sealing Tape labels at the bottom.
- Seal the top of the carton utilizing the remaining Return Cylinder Sealing Tape label for a secure closure.
- Gently remove the shipping label from the original carton provided by Spectra Gases, Inc. to prepare the package for return.
- Affix the completed FedEx Ground PRP label onto the side of the carton, ensuring that it is placed above the existing hazardous materials labels.
- Attach the OP-900 (Hazardous Materials) label to the bottom of the carton, underneath the arched Compressed Gas, N.O.S. label.
- Fill out the FedEx Ground OP-950 (Hazardous Materials Certification) by writing the date and the Tracking I.D. associated with the cylinder being returned. If returning multiple cylinders, only one OP-950 is necessary.
- For additional cylinders being returned, repeat steps 2 to 8 for each package to ensure that all returns follow the protocol.
- Contact FedEx Ground at 1-888-777-6040 to arrange for a commercial pick-up, having your FedEx Ground PRP receipt on hand for reference. This will facilitate the pick-up process.
- Present the driver with the completed OP-950 (Hazardous Materials Certification) upon pick-up to finalize the return process.
