If you are eligible to receive the Canada child benefit (CCB), you will continue to receive it and any related provincial or territorial benefits that you are eligible for during your absence from Canada. However, you will have to file a return each year so that the CRA can calculate your CCB .

Parents with children up to 18 years old can apply for $200 payments for each child, while parents with children with special education needs up to the age of 21 can apply for $250. The deadline to apply is March 31, 2023, at 11:59 pm, and applications must be made through this Ontario.ca website.

The Alberta child and family benefit (ACFB) is a tax-free amount paid to families that have children under 18 years of age. For July 2022 to December 2022, you may be entitled to receive the following amounts: $1,330 ($110.83 per month) for the first child. $665 ($55.41 per month) for the second child.

In 2022 and 2023, you can receive up to $125.75 per month for each child under 18 years of age through the Ontario Child Benefit program. This is equivalent to a maximum of $1,509 per child per year. In addition, you may be eligible for up to $583.08 per month per child in Canada Child Benefit payments.

How much can I receive from the Ontario Child Benefit? You can collect a monthly payment of up to $125.75 (or $1,509 per year) for each child under 18 years of age for the July 2022 to June 2023 benefit year.

Ontario Child Benefit For the period July 2022 - June 2023, families with AFNI less than $23,044 will receive $125.75 per month per child. For families with AFNI greater than $23,044, 8% of this excess is subtracted from their annual OCB. There is no application for OCB.

Based on CCB payments in 2021, you could receive a maximum of: $6,833 per year ($569.41 per month) for each eligible child under the age of 6. $5,765 per year ($480.41 per month) for each eligible child aged 6 to 17.
