Select the row before which you want the table to break. Choose Table > Table Properties. In the Row tab, choose Force under the Page Break Before Row option.

You can also create a shortcut to split a table horizontally by placing your cursor in the cell where you want the split to occur and press the Ctrl+Command+Enter on MacOS or Ctrl+Control+Enter on Windows.
