Get Replacing I 94 Form

There is no fee for the I-94 form. That's true whether you're arriving by land, air, or sea, and regardless of whether you get a paper or electronic record. If you're arriving at a land border port of entry, you can optionally apply online for a provisional I-94 one week or less before your arrival date.

What if my Form I-94 has been lost, stolen, mutilated, or destroyed? If you need to replace a paper Form I-94 that was issued to you upon admission to the United States or that was issued to you by USCIS, you must apply for a replacement Form I-94 with USCIS by using Form I-102.

Travelers may visit .cbp.gov/I94 to retrieve their electronic I-94 number. Upon entering the U.S., travelers will receive a paper with instructions on how to access the website. Individuals can visit .cbp.gov/I94 to retrieve a copy of their electronic Form I-94.

For earlier records, you can request a copy by submitting Form I-102 (officially called the “Application for Replacement/Initial Nonimmigrant Arrival-Departure Document”) and paying a $445 filing fee. While there's no fee for an I-94 travel record, immigrating can be an expensive process.

Useful tips for locating your I-94: Wait 2-3 days after arrival in the U.S. for the system to update with your information. Enter the name as stated in the passport, visa, or the submitted Form DS-160.
