The Employer Accreditation application process takes 10 business days, Job Checks take 2-21 business days and the Work Visa can take 12-25 business days.

It costs NZD $610 to apply for a Job Check. If we decline your Job Check you can ask us to reconsider our decision. The fee for this is NZD $240.

Your business has enough capital or external investment to remain viable. Your business has a credible 2-year plan to ensure it remains viable – for example, a revenue forecast or cash flow projection. Your business must also comply with New Zealand immigration law, employment and business standards.

job checks are valid for 6 months or until you no longer have accreditation. We estimate it will take 10 working days to process complete job check applications from compliant employers.

On average, we process employer accreditation applications in 7 weekdays. 90% of applications are processed within 24 weekdays. Once approved, accreditation lasts for between 12 and 24 months. Employer accreditations will automatically be extended by 12 months if their first accreditation is applied for by 4 July 2023.
