Transcript Submission Electronic transcripts can be sent directly to transcripts@triton.edu. Paper transcripts in their original sealed envelope can be dropped off or sent via U.S. mail directly to the Records Office.

Dropping a Course. Withdrawing from a Course. "Dropping" a course means you dropped it before the end of the drop/add period. A student "withdraws" from a course after the end of the drop/add period.

You may withdraw from a class in one of three ways: online through your MyTriton portal, in person at the Welcome Center (B Building), or by phone through the Call Center (ext. 3130).

Go in person to the registrar's office to get a class withdrawal sheet. Some institutions also accept withdrawals through email. Look on your school's website for an email address for the registrar's office or the academic advisor's office. When in doubt, contact an academic advisor.

Withdrawing from one class may make success in other classes manageable and allow your student to end the semester with a strong GPA. Each school has different rules for withdrawing from a class, and deadlines vary from the third to the 10th week of the semester.

For any withdrawal prior to the 12th class day, all state and institutional aid will be canceled. Withdrawing from classes will also impact your Satisfactory Academic Progress standing and may cause you to become ineligible for future financial aid.

Entering first-year students must meet the following criteria: SAT or ACT scores above the college minimum for English and Math. An accumulated minimum G.P.A. of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
