To apply for an in-year place for a Hounslow school, you will need to complete our in-year online application. Each of your preferences will be considered individually under each school's admission criteria. The brochures also have maps of our schools. You can name up to three schools, listed in order of preference.

Applying for a secondary school place The deadline for applying is 31 October. Your child is less likely to be offered a place at their chosen schools if you miss the deadline for applications.

You can apply for a place at a state secondary school online or by using your council's application form. You apply through your local council even if you're applying for schools in another council area.

Contact your local council to find out about applying for a school place once the school year has started (known as in-year applications). They can tell you which schools still have places and how to apply. Once your child has been offered a place, they will usually start school at the beginning of the following term.

Applications received later than 31 October 2022 will be looked at after 1 March 2023. Remember if you apply late, you are less likely to get a place at the school of your choice. If you have made a late application, you will receive your child's secondary school offer by post.

You can apply online by using the eAdmissions (external link) website, which opens for applications in September and is accessible right up until midnight on 15 January. You can also apply in writing by requesting a form from the City of London Schools Admissions Service on 020 7332 1002.
