All residential or commercial intrusion/burglar alarms, that have central monitoring, must have a central monitoring verification call made to the premises generating the alarm signal, prior to alarm monitor personnel contacting the Miami-Dade Police Department for dispatch.

Any Alarm/Security system for home or business in the City of Lansing MUST have a Permit.

Fire alarm systems must be designed by a NICET level III fire alarm designer or a Washington State licensed engineer and installed in ance with the National Fire Protection Association Standard (NFPA) 72. A King County Fire Alarm System Permit shall be applied for prior to issuance of the building permit.

A non-refundable $30.00 registration fee must be paid with each initial registration. A separate registration must be obtained for each alarm user and/or location. Registrations must be renewed on a biennial (2 year) basis at a cost of $10.00.

City Ordinance Chapter 102 is an ordinance regulating alarm systems within the corporate limits of Pompano Beach, Florida, affecting commercial and residential facilities. Its purpose and intent is to limit the number of alarm incidents within the city limits.

Residential, business and commercial alarm systems must be registered with us, and renewed every year, if they are monitored, or if they have flashing lights, sirens, or anything else that causes the police to provide services.
