The ICAI membership is valid for 12 months, after which graduates are required to renew on an annual basis. CA membership is essential for graduates to get job opportunities in taxation, auditing, accounts, finance, logistics, and much more.

To qualify as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant you must complete the ACA, a highly-respected professional qualification that requires students to complete at least three years on-the-job training while passing a series of exams.

Membership renewal Your annual membership subscription is due on 1 January. Every year, we will contact you in November about your renewal. If your firm pays your subscription, we will contact them directly to request payment.

Certificate level These modules will introduce you to the fundamentals of accountancy, finance and business. Most ACA students complete the Certificate Level within the first year of their training agreement.

Annual Subscription Fee means the annual amount payable by Members which may be subject to increases as determined from time to time in respect of any or all categories of Membership. Annual Subscription Fee means the Subscription Fee payable by You on an annual basis.

When do I become eligible for membership? You will be invited to join ICAEW as a member when you have: passed or received credits for all of the ACA exams;> completed your practical work experience requirements (a minimum of 450 days unless you were eligible for 300 days);

If you are planning to engage in public practice in the UK or the rest of the EEA, you need to hold an ICAEW practising certificate and comply with our Professional Indemnity Insurance and Practice Assurance Regulations.
