Vajrasattva (rDo-rje sems-dpa') practice is a tantric meditation done for the purification of karma . You can visualize Vajrasattva in front of you, with light coming from his compassionate heart into your body, purifying you. Or, more traditionally, we visualize Vajrasattva on top of our head, with light coming down into the crown of our head, and filling our body with purifying light.

Practiced correctly, the great blessing power of Vajrasattva is able to purify all negativities, repair the broken samayas and cleanse even the subtlest obscurations of the body, speech and mind enabling one realizing the primordially enlightened nature within oneself.

Chant the Hundred Syllable Vajrasattva mantra, and visualize all beings beneath Vajrasattva receiving his blessings and light. Finally, Vajrasattva dissolves into light, which dissolves into everyone's heart, and everyone becomes Vajrasattva. Each of these three ways to perform the Vajrasattva meditation is excellent.
