Earn CLE in Different Ways Under Wisconsin Supreme Court Rule (SCR) 31.02, lawyers “shall attend a minimum of 30 hours of approved CLE during each reporting period.”1 Of those 30 hours, a​t least three hours must be on the subject of legal ethics and professional responsibility (EPR).

What are lawyers' CLE reporting requirements? Minnesota lawyers must complete 45 approved credit hours every 3 years, including at least 3 ethics credit hours and 2 elimination of bias credit hours.

With a few exceptions, all attorneys who are actively practicing law in California must complete 25 hours of Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) every three years and file a report with the State Bar.
