handyDART is an accessible, door-to-door shared transit service for people with permanent or temporary disabilities that prevent them from using fixed-route transit without assistance from another person. handyDART picks you up at your accessible door and drops you off at the accessible door of your destination.

Application Forms We will process your HandyDART application within 10 days of confirming receipt. Allow 4 to 6 weeks processing time for a HandyCard to use on our conventional transit system.

Eligible users are defined as persons who have either a temporary or permanent, physical or cognitive disability that is sufficiently severe that they are unable, without assistance, to use conventional transit for part or all of their travel (i.e. TransLink buses, SkyTrain, SeaBus and West Coast Express).

The HandyDART vehicle is a fare paid zone which requires proof of payment. SkyTrain and SeaBus: Paying by Compass Card or Tap to Pay will allow you to transfer to the SkyTrain or SeaBus within the 90-minute transfer window without paying a second fare.
