About ENTYVIO® The recommended dose regimen of subcutaneous ENTYVIO® as a maintenance treatment, following at least two intravenous infusions, is 108 mg administered by subcutaneous injection once every two weeksi.

The recommended dose is 108 mg of Entyvio (1 pre-filled pen) administered by subcutaneous injection once every 2 weeks. The subcutaneous injections can be given by yourself or a caregiver, after appropriate training on how to do it.

Entyvio solution for injection is given by injection just under the skin (subcutaneous injection). More instructions can be found in Section 4.

9, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- In their most recent earnings call on October 29, 2021, Takeda revealed that discussions with the FDA have led to a potential approval for subcutaneous (SC) Entyvio in 2023, at the earliest.

Entyvio comes as a powder in a single-dose vial. A healthcare professional will mix sterile water with the powder. Then they will give you the mixture as an intravenous (IV) infusion (an injection into a vein given over time).

Each dose is 108mg. The first dose would be given when your next IV infusion is due and you will be given full training on how to do the injection. The injection is given under the skin in either your tummy or thigh area.

Medicare Part B May Help Although Medicare's Part D prescription drug benefit does not cover Entyvio, some patients may be able to get coverage for Entyvio through Medicare Part B under certain circumstances. Medicare Part B covers medically necessary services in a doctor's office or in an outpatient setting.

ENTYVIO is given through a needle placed in a vein (intravenous infusion) in your arm. ENTYVIO is given to you over a period of about 30 minutes. Your healthcare provider will monitor you during and after the ENTYVIO infusion for side effects to see if you have a reaction to the treatment.
